Fabulous Friday!

I have FINALLY finished this Twilight page! Of course the photos didn't come out all that good because the photo mats are shiny plastic so the light is reflecting off of them, and you can even see my reflection in the first photo, but I think it turned out well.

After posting this page I was asked by Megan from http://www.thingsmommyslove.blogspot.com/ to do a Twilight giveaway in November. I've never done a giveaway before, but I'll soon find out what that entails! BTW her blog is really nice so you should check it out if you have a moment!

Well today is the beach day that we've been waiting for, for what seems like FOREVER! Me and the girls are going to Plum Island with my friend Shannon and her girls for the day. I can't wait! I'll be bringing along the camera so I'll be sharing photos later!

Grumpy Girls are Not Fun ~ And I NEED Fun to Survive!

Well I am up bright and early today as Taryne made herself an orthodontist appt. at 8am. Personally this is not too early for me, but for two girls who like to sleep in this will not be fun. I can already envision the grumpiness. I already warned Autumn last night that I would be waking her up in the morning and that she better not be grumpy. She then asked me what grumpy meant, which was cute.

Since we were going to be out early today we had planned on going to the ocean with Shannon and Bryleigh, but the weather doesn't look so good. So not only are we going to have an extra long day, but crummy weather on top of that. Oh well, things could be worse. This means that I WILL be finishing my Twilight layout TODAY! I really will.

Well it's now time for me to awake those girls. Wish me luck!

Beautiful!

And here she is ~ braceless!!!



It only took about 45 minutes and then voila! I wish the car wasn't cutting the top of her head off in this photo, but I wanted to get a natural smile before she knew what was happening. And I did get a natural smile from Taryne, FINALLY!!

I'm so happy that Taryne's teeth are so nice now. There was a LOT of work to be done, but they did a wonderful job. Unfortunatley now Taryne looks a bit older without the braces. A few hours after getting them off she went for a walk and was mistaken by a neighbor to be another girl in our neighborhood who is either 17 or 18. NO!!

Today is going to be so nice out that we decided Taryne should have some friends over for a little beach party. Looks like it's not going to be much of a party since so far only one out of 15 can come, but it will be nice for her to have something to do other than repeat "I'm bored" every 10 minutes throughout the day. (That is getting on my nerves ~ big time.).

Therefore I'm hoping to go out on Friday night with Sherry to have some adult fun. Sherry just makes me laugh so much that whatever we do will be a blast. And Friday cannot come quick enough for me!

And their off today!

Today is the BIG day that Taryne has her braces taken off. She is so excited, and that is all I've heard about for the last few weeks. I'll probably take her picture in front of the office after she is all done. This she will complain about, but too bad! Almost 2 years ago I took her "before" picture, so now I need the "after" picture for her scrapbook! The best part about this appointment is that it is such a long one I can drop her off and come home till she's finished.

So yesterday I did end up going back to the craft store to buy different materials for my Twilight themed scrapbook page. After all my talk about this you all probably think that this page is going to look completely magical. Well I don't know about that, but I'm thinking that it may still be awhile till I finish it. Today I'm thinking that I shouldn't let it bother me how long it is taking for me to complete this page, so that's what I'm going to do. It is summer after all.

Well I'm now off to check my Etsy & MIM shops, and then I've got to awaken my sleeping girls. Are your wondering why in the world whould wake them? Well it's only because of Taryne's appointment of course. Otherwise I'd be as quiet as I could be till they woke on their own. As soon as their both up the talking does not stop, and to make it worse they both have to talk to me at the same time, and then they argue about who was talking to me first. It is tiring to say the least.

Ok ~ here I go!

Blogging Away on This Monday!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Yesterday Keith and I and the girls went to Jon & Cathy's for a visit. It was such a nice day to be outside. Although it was still not beachy enough for me to attempt going swimming. Julia always LOVES to chase Autumn around and copy what she does. It is very cute. Autumn actually wore Julia out yesterday, which was a nice change from Autumn wearing me out with all her crazy demands.

Keith riding the Green Machine ~ I warned him I was going to post this on my blog and so here it is Keith!!! This machine appears to be very durable.

Yesterday I also worked on my Twilight premade scrapbook page. I am almost done with it but I do not like it. It is so sad when something like that happens. Now I am planning on going back to the store to get a few more materials and I'm starting over! I like the days when I can whip out a project and love how it turns out. This is turning out to be too much. And to top it off now Taryne wants this page for herself, so I am going to be making two of them.

Well I'm off to begin another day. Have a good Monday!!
