I've just listed this "Family Recipe" premade scrapbook page on Etsy!

I am already at work on another layout titled "Girls Rock". This one is bright and fun! Can't wait to share!
My big project at the moment is still trying to remove paint from a bureau which is being very stubborn. Last night I just about gave up, and I brought the entire bureau outside and hosed it off. I was going to just let it dry and put it back where it came from, but then I envisioned what it will look like if I follow through on this, so here I am back to working on it. Please wish me luck because I need it!

Having a Moment
Well I was going to write more about Taryne's bedroom renovation. Like how My legs and back hurt from pulling out the rug. And how my hands and arms hurt from trying to remove paint from an old bureau, but then I opened one of my favorite blogs to read and changed my mind.
I first came across this blog through my Creating Keepsakes magazine. The blog is from Elizabeth Kartchner, who awhile back won Creating Keepsakes "Scrapbooker of the Year" contest. If you look at her blog you'll see why she won ~ her scrapbooking and photography are amazing ~ http://elizabethkartchner.blogspot.com/.
Elizabeth's husband is also a photographer and has both a blog and website which you can look at here if your into that ~

This couple takes photos like I wish I could take. The pictures of their children are so detailed and wonderful compared to the photos I have of my children. I have to say I'm jealous! Maybe someday I'll have a really nice camera and take photography lessons.
Well I can't put it off any longer ~ I guess I should begin scraping paint again. If this doesn't work I'm going to SCREAM so block your ears!
I'll leave you with an inspirational quote ~

Mission Well Underway
Taryne and I are getting so excited about her room. There is no turning back now. At first I thought the best way to let Keith know what we've been up to while he's been away was for him to just arrive home and discover the change himself. I've since decided that I'll call him to forewarn him, so if he's not happy with this he'll have time to calm down before he arrives home! He HATES change, so we'll see how that goes!
The walls and ceiling are just about ready for painting. I was planning to hold off on replacing the rug, but last night I couldn't help it and I tore the whole thing out. I went at it with a blade, hammer and screwdriver, and found that I am pretty good with tools! We are impatiently awaiting for the arrival of the new bedding since we've decided we definately need it in order to match the wall color to.
Besides that project I've also almost completed another scrapbook layout to list for sale on Etsy. This one is titled "Family Recipe", and is meant to share memories of a family recipe that has been passed down in your family. I should actually make a similar one for myself as I have a cookie recipe which has been handed down a few generations on Keith's side of the family, and was finally passed along to me as well! I will share photos soon.
Well I guess I should begin some laundry before I get caught up in another project, which is very easy to do. I would much rather work on redecorating or scrapbooking than do laundry any day.

Top Secret Mission
Happy Monday!
Well my top story has to be about the top secret mission that we have taken up this week. Keith is away camping for a few days, so Taryne and I decided this would be the perfect time to begin redecorating her room. That way we have total control of the situation!
The biggest project is the walls, which my dad is helping us out with. There used to be an ugly border going around the room which I removed over the winter. Now comes the patching, and then the painting! Taryne has already picked out her new bedding and paint color to match. We have also removed every bit of "junk" from her room and gone through that. It's going to be so cute and super organized. This is going to be quite a transformation from sickly 70's to totally beautiful! Since this mission is top secret we won't be sharing any photos till later!
I do have some photos to share from Friday's beach trip with Shannon and her girls. Autumn and Bryleigh had the most fun out of all of us. A day at the beach used to completely wear Autumn out, but it appears that this isn't the case anymore. She never ran out of energy, went to bed a bit late, and then woke up at 5:30 on Saturday.
Anyways here are some photo's of Autumn using a boogie board. She was very serious about this and it made me a bit afraid. These days if I tell her that she's scaring me with whatever she's doing, she'll tell me not to watch her then. I try not to ruin her fun, but it can be hard!
