Device to Keep Students Safe with Giveaway!

This post is sponsored by ROBOCOPP, and contains a sponsored link.
I have not received compensation or product.

Sending your child off to college can be pretty scary. Not only do you have to hope that they make good choices about many things, but you may worry about their personal safety.

My daughter has just completed her junior year college and safety was my number one concern. I remember reading articles about safety which suggested things such as to never walk alone on campus at night. Or if you had to be out alone at night to either talk on the phone while you walked, or to pretend that you were talking on the phone. Neither of these options made me feel any better.

Recently I learned of an app which can track your students location from point A to point B. This seemed promising at the time, but to actually get my daughter to download and agree to use it was another story.

Then came ROBOCOPP. ROBOCOPP is the worlds smallest SOS personal safety device. It can be clipped onto your key ring, backpack or bag.

When the device is activated it sounds an alarm as loud as an ambulance, which is why it is also called a Sound Grenade! It has an instant pull-pin activation which is very convenient in an emergency.

I believe this device is a step forward in personal safety, and can provide protection in anyone from a woman out shopping alone, to an elderly or disable individual who are at risk for falls or injury.

What do you think of this product? Would you feel better if your college student had one of these on them while away at school? Would you use this product yourself for your personal safety?

You can purchase the ROBOCOPP Sound Grenade directly from their website here: https://www.robocopp.com/

If you'd like to try for a chance to win one you can enter my giveaway below! The contest will run until midnight on July 6th, 2016. When a winner is selected I will contact you for your mailing information :) Good Luck!

  1. Paula, I think this is a terrific idea and as you said, not only for college students. For me personally, I like the idea of having something like this even as a grandmother. I think as sad as it is these days....we better do all that we can do to protect ourselves. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

    1. Hi Cindy! I completely agree..I picture myself out shopping alone at night and would feel much better having a device like this. The world has certainly changed :(
