NO RULES WEEKEND BLOG PARTY #269!

Hope you all had a wonderful week! This week we had
a bit of an icy spell. Makes for dangerous driving,
but a pretty coating of ice was left behind
on all the branches.

Lately I've been thinking of working on my photography
skills and wanted to try and capture a photo of the
ice on a branch. It was pretty slippery out in my
yard, but I managed to get out there and get
a photo. Not sure what I think about it,
but I do like the details. Here is the
photo below:

What have you been up to this week! I know you all
have something wonderful to share, so we
should get the party started :)

Are you ready to find some new blogs to read?
And perhaps gain some new followers? Or
maybe you'd like to grow your social
networks, or make a sale in
your Etsy shop?

Please link up all your wonderful posts below!

The party normally runs from Thursday mornings
at 6 am US EST until 3 am US EST Monday.

If you follow me in any way please leave
me a quick comment and I will follow
you back as soon as I can :)

I'd love if you shared the party on whichever social
media you prefer..Sharing helps direct more
lovely bloggers here which in turn
hopefully means more traffic
for everyone!

Let's party!

    1. Hi Suzy! Was that in 2008? If so we were in that zone as well. We were without power for almost 2 weeks. And the lines at the gas stations were so long because everyone was filling gas cans for their generators. Not a fun time with kids, and I hope that doesn't happen again. Thank you for sharing with the party! Happy weekend :)

    1. Hi Joy! Yes it will be nice to look at and remember the icy weather. The little bit of snow left in our yard has an icy layer on top. Not the best for walking outside right now. Thank you for sharing..have a lovely weekend :)

  5. I like the photo. It's always humbling to take photos. I realize how hard it is to capture what I feel when I'm looking at it IRL.

    1. I completely agree that it's difficult to capture what you're feeling and seeing. That's why I'm going to practice, practice, practice! Thank you for sharing with the party! Have a terrific weekend :)

    1. Thank you! Most photos I take that are "good" are usually by accident, but I hope to change that lol. Thanks for linking up. Have a wonderful weekend :)

  12. Moving away from the ocean would be a tough decision. I have been to the west coast and many beaches there, love North Carolina, but that it.
Wish I lived closer I love how calming it is!!

Thanks for hosting, hope you will stop by and share your party on #omhgff this week!
    Have a great weekend!
